Throughout the pilgrimage period (1)
By IRFAN ANSHORY
WE should start a discourse about personal pilgrimage of the first great teaching, namely Abraham ( `alayhi s-salam, peace to him), ancestor of the Arabs and the Hebrews, and the father of the three monotheistic religions: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Assuming that one third of the world population is now Christian, a fifth are Muslim, and Jewish sepertigaratusnya, which teaches people the pilgrimage was honored by more than half the inhabitants of this planet, with varying titles: Abrahem, Abraham, Abraham, and has a nickname is intimate: Friend of God (Khalilu l-Lah; Khafer Elohim; Amigo Dei; Friend of God).
In the book of the Koran, the name of Prophet Ibrahim a.s. mentioned 69 times in the spread of 25 and is ranked second largest after the Prophet Moses is mentioned as Based on the information the Qur'an, coupled with information from Bereshith (Genesis), the Torah first, we can browse resumes Abraham He was born and raised in the land of Ur, the land Chaldean, the mouth of the River Euphrates (now Iraq) about four thousand years ago. While living in the community environment Mesopotamia who worshiped the heavenly bodies, since a young teenager Ibrahim has upright character, which is inclined to the truth of the One God. As explained in the Qur'an Surat Al-An `am 74-83, Ibrahim refused to worship the stars, moon and sun, and longed for guidance from God Almighty.
God in the language of Mesopotamia called El or Il (name of country or Babil Babylon means Door of God). Future offspring of Abraham, the Hebrew people and the Arabs, modify it by adding a letter Ha (He), respectively Eloh and Ilah. The last name was later given the article (definite article) Al-, became Al-Ilah or Allah. However, El and Il as the name of God is found in Hebrew and Arabic the names of Gabriel (Gabriel), Michael (Mika'il), Yishma `el (Isma` il), Yisra'el (Isra'il), and forth.
Please note that the Mesopotamian people use basic number six. They are the ones left to us the division of the circle into 360 degrees, the division one day to 24 hours, an hour into 60 minutes, and one minute to 60 seconds. This system makes the number seven as something special. The number 60 is divisible by 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, but not divisible by seven. That is why one week to seven days, and something must be stated in the maximum number of seven. Because God communicates through His revelation in the relevant language of the Prophet, then Manasik (procedures) pilgrimage to disyari `atkan Abraham many involve the number seven, as seven rounds thawaf, seven back and forth sa `i, and seven hurl against jumrah.
The new young Abraham was married to her idol, Sarah, followed his family moved from Ur, through the Euphrates River to the headwaters in the north, and settled in Haran, which is now located in Turkey. Haran population is pagan, and was ruled by a tyrant king. Book of the Qur'an does not explain the name of this king, but the source of Hebrew history or the story of King Nimrod Isra'iliyat call, who then copied into Nimrod or Namruz in Arabic. In the Qur'an Surat Al-Anbiya '51-73 Ibrahim explained that ransacked the idols that the king's wrath and burning alive Ibrahim. But God saved Abraham to have made it cool. Then came the command of God to Abraham to leave his country.
'Lekh careless! " (Go you!), So God commands listed in the Book Bereshith (Genesis) 12: 1, 'from your country, your family and your father's house, to the land that I will show you'. Book Qur'an Surat Ash-99 to record a statement Shaffat Ibrahim: Inni dzahibun ila rabbi, sa yahdin (Actually I went to my Lord, He leadeth me later). God promised land was called Kana'an, Aramaic which means purple, because the people known to produce purple dye (purple dyes). The Greek word for purple is Phonix, so they called it Phoenician areas. Later named the Hebrews Pelishtim, and historian of the fifth century BC Herodotus mempopulerkannya as Palaistine (Palestine).
God's command to Abraham was accompanied by seven promises, as stated in the Book Bereshith 12: 2-3, namely: (1) I will make thee a great nation; (2) I will bless thee; (3) I will make thy name great; (4) You will be a blessing; (5) I will bless them that bless thee; (6) I will curse those who curse you; and (7) The whole of the earth will be blessed through you.
The fact indicates that the three religious communities (Jewish, Christian, Muslim) who claimed to be 'the children of Abraham', only Muslims who every day of Abraham's name with reverence. At the end of their prayers, Muslims fervently whispering barakta kama `ala ibrahim (as You have bestowed a blessing to Abraham).
Ibrahim in a more advanced age also have children yet. He is no cease praying to God: Rabbi habli mina sh-Righteous (Oh my God, me karuniai pious child), as stated in the Ash-Shaffat 100. Bereshith Book 16: 3 says: "And Sarah Abraham's wife took Hagar the Egyptian maid, after ten years of Abraham settled in the land of Kana'an, and he gave it to her husband as the wife of Abraham". In this case needs to be emphasized that the Black is the assistant Sarah (Hebrew manuscript shifhah = maid, maid), and is by no means 'slave' or 'slave' (maid in Hebrew). It should also be emphasized that the Black is not a 'mistress' of Abraham, but a legitimate wife. Said at the end of paragraph Bereshith 16: 3 are used to Hagar in the Hebrew text reads ishah (wife, wife) is also used at the beginning of the verse to Sarah.
Basysyarnahu fa bi halim ghulamin (So We delight him with a child who is smart), so the word of God in the Ash-Shaffat 101. Hagar gave birth to a son, named by his father Yishma `el (in Hebrew) or Isma` il (in Arabic), which means 'God hears', hear the prayer of Ibrahim to obtain offspring. Bereshith 16: 16 add information 'And Abraham was 86 years old when Hagar gave birth to Isma `il to him."
After Isma `il was born, come down the commandments of duty circumcision (circumcision). In Bereshith 17: 10 says' This is my covenant which should you hold, between thee and me with your seed after thee, that every male among you shall be circumcised. "Those who disbelieve in this obligation, Bereshith 17: 14 confirmed" And men who are not circumcised khatannya skin, then it must be removed from the group. She has denied my covenant. " Once again the fact that Muslims the most consistent in implementing the obligations of this circumcision or circumcision. So, those who are not circumcised are certainly highly inappropriate to be called or claimed as 'the children of Abraham'.
About Isma `il, I hear, the word of God to Abraham in Bereshith 17: 20. In the Hebrew text the sentence was just two words: `el uleyishma Shema` when, and very interesting that these two words have three letters of the same basic shin, her, `ayin. 'I will bless her and made her descent very much. Twelve leaders (literacy) will diperanakkannya, and I will make a great nation. "
Apparently God has great plans for Ibrahim and Isma `il. God commanded Abraham to take Hagar and their children were little left Kana'an southwards, towards a valley called Baka or Bakkah. Because dreams and perhaps the same letter bilabial (lips), Bakkah name gradually changed to Makkah. In Arabic and Hebrew, the immortal words have two meanings: 'laughing tears' and 'balsam tree'. The first meaning associated with that area so gersangnya seemed not to give hope, and the second meaning related to the number of balsam trees (genus Commiphora) that grow there.
What's special about it Bakkah valley? God described in the Letter of Alu Imran 96: Inna awwala baitin wudhi `a li n-rice, l-ladzi He bakkata mubarakan wa bi hudan li l-` alamin (Actually the First Temple built for humans actually located on the blessed and Bakkah guidance for the whole of nature). It turned out that Bakkah valley was the location of the Temple (l-Lah Baitu in Arabic, Beth Elohim in Hebrew) which was founded by the first generation of humanity from the time of Prophet Adam as At the time of Prophet Ibrahim a.s. valley had been abandoned, no people who inhabit, and the first Temple was only a foundation course. There was a story that says that the Temple was destroyed by a flood in the days of Noah as How the truth, only God knows.
The story of Hagar and Isma `il were collected and written by historian Muhammad ibn Jarir Tabari (died 310 Hijri or 922 AD) in the famous book," Tarikh al-Rusul wa l-Muluk "(History of the Apostles and The Lords), Vol 1, pp. 275-283: 'When he received orders from God to go to his house, Ibrahim went with Hagar and Isma `il accompanied by the angel Gabriel. They arrived in Makkah who just acacia trees, mimosas, balsam and brambles. The house of God then lived essentially in the form of red clay. Gabriel said, God ordered you to leave them. Ibrahim brought Hajar and Isma `il to Hijir (in addition to Ka` bah today) and make a tent there. Then Abraham prayed: 'O our Lord! I put my offspring in the valley of the dead plants bear fruit, in addition to your house the Holy One, so they still uphold the prayer. So human hearts turned to them, and give them sustenance from the fruit, so they were grateful '(Surat Ibrahim 37). When Ibrahim will go, Hagar said, 'What makes God's command to leave us? " He answered, 'Yes. " So Hagar said, "If this is of course God does not leave us to perish." Then Ibrahim returned to Kana'an, leaving them both in the House of God. "
Still quote from Tabari: 'Isma `il cry because very thirsty. Hajar strained to hear the voice that might help get water. He heard a voice in the hills of Safa, then go there but did not find anything. Then she heard a voice on the hill of Marwah. He went there, did not find anything. Hagar returned to Safa, and then back again to Marwah, with no feeling tired so its children are drinking. "
Bereshith 21: 17-19 supplement this story: 'And God heard the boy's voice, and the angel of God called out from heaven and said to him,' What are you susahkan, Hagar? Do not be afraid, for God has heard the boy's voice from where she lay. Arise, take up the child and Lead him, because I will make a great nation. " And God opened Hagar's eyes and he saw a spring. He went kirbat skin filled with water, then gave him a drink.
Back to the description Tabari: 'When Black reached Marwah seven times back and forth, she suddenly heard a roar from the valley where he had left Isma `il. He ran to his son, and found a spring near where she radiates lying. Hajar kirbat fill water into the skin, shouting, 'Zummi, zummi'. Some suggest that the Egyptian language means "Gather, gather." It is also possible that only imitate the sound of Black speech emanating water. Only God is omniscient, but the words from the name of Hagar's Zamzam lake. "
The presence of lake water of Zamzam make it worth occupied. Then came the group whose leaders Jurhum tribe named Mudad, begged permission to Hagar and Isma `il to settle there.
At certain times, on a regular basis from Kana'an Ibrahim came to visit his wife and children in the valley of Mecca which gradually grew into a settlement.
When Isma `il 13-year-old great test came matchless. God told Abraham to kill his son who berqurban only that! It was a very tough test for a father, but because it was God's command Abraham menyanggupinya so without hesitation. When the command of God was delivered to the children of Abraham, and when Isma `il was asked his opinion by his father, the Isma` il who was still a teenager replied: Yes abati, if `al ma tu'mar. Tajiduni insya'a Sa l-lahu mina sh-shabirin ( 'O's father, carried out what God commanded. Insha Allah will find me as the father of the child patient'), as stated in Surat Ash-Shaffat 102.
Abraham Isma `il bring to a hill east of Mecca, a place which is now named Mina. Three times the devil tempted Ibrahim to cancel the plan, three times did Abraham resist the temptation of Satan to hurl pebbles. Abraham's act was later immortalized in one of Manasik (ordinances) pilgrimage, which is throwing three jumrah in Mina. Isma `il after resting on a stone foundation slaughter, and the sword of Ibrahim was ready to touch the neck of his son, then God said to Abraham replace sembelihannya with a sheep. The Word of God in the Ash-Shaffat 106-107: Inna lahuwa Hadza bala'u l-l-Mubin. Fadaynahu wa bi dzibhin `azhim ( 'Verily this is really just a real test, and We ransomed him with a big sheep').
Ibrahim has not lost son, his son and even increased by one again, because after the exam qurban, God gave them the good news that his first wife, Sarah, will give her son named Ishaq (in Arabic) or Yitshaq (in Hebrew), as explained in the Ash -Shaffat 112: Wa bi basysyarnahu Ishaq, nabiyyan mina sh-Righteous ( 'And we are encouraging him to Ishaq, a prophet of righteousness'). Ishaq later lowered the Hebrews, while Isma `il later lowered the Arabs, especially the Quraish tribe in Mecca.
Now let us review the information about the event qurban Bereshith it. In Bereshith 22: 2nd commandment of God to Abraham, saying: 'Take your son, your only one, whom you love, Isaac (?), And go to the land Moriah and sacrifice him as a burnt offering on one of the mountains that will I firmankan you. "
When the script standardized Torah, the Jewish scholars Yishma rename `el (Isma` il) on Bereshith 22 with Yitshaq (Ishaq). But this Jewish machinations obviously spots. Bereshith 22: 2 clearly states 'that your son is the only'. Hebrew manuscript reads yahid, meaning 'the one'. This means that the test of God to Abraham before Isaac was born, when Abraham had a son, the Isma `il. The Torah itself clearly states that Isma `il was born when Abraham was 86 years (Bereshith 16: 16), while Isaac was born when Abraham was 100 years old (Bereshith 21: 5).
In Al-Baqarah 75 stated that the Jews 'hear the word of God and then change it after you understand it when they know' ( `una yasma Kalama to fight thumma l min ba` yuharrifunahu in aqaluhu wa ma `hum yes seagrass). Name-changing scandal Isma `il be qurban Ishaq in the event that caused the Jewish people are not willing to Isma` il offspring play a role in the implementation of God's promise to Bereshith 22: 18 'And all the nations of the earth be blessed through your seed, because you have obeyed me '.
